Another week, another sing-song session. This time it was for the Farleighs Evergreens Group who meet in the same hall where Kettle Bridge Concertinas practice so the players felt very much at home!

All the old favourites were played and sung with great enthusiasm and, in addition, the band played a few tunes just for listening. After an hour's playing it was time for an afternoon tea kindly provided by the hosts.

Both the Coxheath Thursday Group (where we played last week) and the Evergreens generously offered a donation to Kettle Bridge Concertinas. It was agreed that the money be given to two charities; the locally based Making a Difference to Maidstone supporting individuals and families who find themselves in crises, and the Disasters Emergency Committee following the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
