On the 23rd October, we combined our regular Sunday morning practice session with an "open morning" event, so that anyone could drop in to see what we do, try out an instrument and maybe consider joining our warm and friendly group.

This was very well supported by the members and we are very pleased to report that two of the visitors were so enthused that they each took home a club concertina with a view to joining our group and learning to play. Meanwhile, the members, ranging from beginners to advanced players, had a great time playing together, in between looking after our guests. Not only that, during the breaks much cake was eaten; what's not to like?
